Events
Lotus Events arranges meetings (Mom’s Night Outs, Family events, Outings for couples and Dad's events) in and around Houston for our members to attend and meet fellow childhood cancer parents and their families. These events allow us all to form lasting friendships with people who understand our daily struggles and constant worries, giving our members a chance to let their guard down.
Mom's Night Out
Our goal is to host a Mom’s Night out all around the Houston area every six to eight weeks. These are hosted at local restaurants, but may also be hosted by a mom in her home for a Mom's Night In or virtually over Zoom!
Caregiver Retreats
An annual retreat is held for area caregiver's of children with cancer to bring about a connected support group. These connections are vital to the caregiver throughout the treatment process and beyond. Caregiver's are given the opportunity to Relax, Refuel and Refresh!
Family Events
Lotus Events plans a few family events a year to allow caregivers to introduce their children to one another in a safe, clean environment. Family events are a great way to promote friendships and encourage additional get-togethers amongst families.
Various Fundraisers
In order to offer these events throughout the year, fundraisers will be held at various times. Store or restaurant promotions where proceeds benefit our group, Christmas ornaments sales, t-shirt sales, walks/runs and more!
